In 2018, Ekaterinburg Non-Ferrous Metals Processing Plant JSC continued to implement one of the key areas of the development strategy associated with the expansion of product exports.

During the year, the Plant entered new markets in Europe and Southeast Asia, opening deliveries to Spain (products for the medical industry) and Thailand (silver reference materials). Thus, the export geography of EZOCM JSC, excluding supplies from other enterprises of the PLAURUM group, expanded to 33 countries.

Prior to this, in 2015, the company made the first deliveries of products to China, Canada, the United States and Turkey. The countries-importers of EZOCM products (precious metals, semi-finished products and high-tech finished products) are also India, the Czech Republic, Italy, Switzerland, Armenia, Bulgaria, Poland, the United Arab Emirates, Great Britain, Japan, Moldova, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, etc.

According to Alexander Andreev, General Director of EZOCM JSC, in the outgoing year, a lot of preparatory work was done to further expand exports in 2019-2020. In particular, the Plant was establishing contacts with potential customers from Africa (Sudan, Algeria), South Korea, and Europe.

“The motive for the development of exports will also be the completion of key R&D projects in which our Science and Technology Department is involved. New products for the automotive, medical, glass and other industries will be in demand in the global market. Improving the quality of already manufactured products with a simultaneous decrease in their cost, achieved through new production technologies, will allow expanding the customer base,” added Alexander Andreev.
