While actively developing world supplies of precious metals, semi-finished products and finished products, Ekaterinburg Non-Ferrous Metals Processing Plant JSC (part of the PLAURUM  international group) is also searching for new sales markets within Russia.

In the middle of August, representatives of EZOCM JSC visited the IX specialized international exhibition "Aerospace Technologies, Advanced Materials and Equipment” (AKTO-2018). The event was held in Kazan; it was co-organized by the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic and the administration of Kazan. The state corporation Rostec took on the role of being one of the co-organizers as well. About 150 enterprises of the rocket and space and aviation industry of Russia, Belarus and other countries presented their products at the exhibition.

"During the exhibition, negotiations with the existing clients of the plant were held, as well as with potential customers from different regions of the Russian Federation, working in the nuclear industry, instrument making, electronics and electrical engineering. The subject of negotiations were the possible supplies of some products, in particular, bands, wires and tubes of precious metals, thermoelectrode wire, thermocouples for measuring equipment and others," – said Alexey Fomin, Deputy Head of Science and Technology Department of EZOCM JSC.

Also, following the visit to AKTO-2018, the EZ OCM will closely study the state of the domestic industry of contract manufacturing of electronics. According to Alexey Fomin, at first glance the industry is experiencing active development; the number of contract manufacturers is growing, as are the volumes of their orders. As for the products, the companies of this industry may be interested in the gold micron wire, which is used for soldering and brazing microcircuits.

"In the near future, our specialists will study this market in detail, including the volume of possible demand for the gold wire. After that, we will come out to contract manufacturers with supply proposals," – the deputy head of the STD of EZOCM JSC added.
