EZOCM JSC has over 70 years’ experience of precious metals catalytic systems production. The company is currently carrying out researches and testing the new types of such products. For example, in 2019 the specialists of EZOCM proceeded with the implementation of the catalytic systems production development project results.

“During the years 2016 to 2019 we developed and tested the reinforced woven gauzes of PtRh-95-5U alloy. Such woven gauzes substitute some standard woven gauzes and allow to reduce the precious metals consumption by 10% to 15%, increase the service life by 5% to 7%, reduce the specific irrecoverable precious metals loss by 3% to 5%. Several companies have already started to apply the new technology,” said Alexander Bazhenov, Head of the Service and Technical Support Department of EZOCM.

“Another area of development within this project is elaboration of Kanthal A1 platinum coating for the steel gauzes. Such gauzes are used for substitution of one or several woven gauzes in the catalytic systems and provide for reduction of the precious metals consumption by 10% to 20% depending on the type of unit. We have already carried out all the necessary laboratory tests and early in the year of 2019 we installed the testbed catalytic system on a unit of one of our established customers,” he added.

Following the results of 2019 the estimated revenue from implementation of such technologies will amount to 20 million RUB approximately.

Over the previous decade the sales territory of the catalytic systems produced by EZOCM accounted for 20 plants from 7 countries including Belarus, Ukraine, Turkey, Canada and Kazakhstan.
