Plaurum reports at Nitrogen Industry Conference in China
The 11th session of the Conference on nitrogen acid and nitrates production took place on 25-27 April, 2017 in Hangzhou (Zhejiang province).
Plaurum group presented by Alexey Shchukin, Plaurum Representative in China, and Alexander Shtyrlov, EZOCM Production Director, has made presentation on Plaurum catalytic systems, their benefits and features. The report was presented in Chinese and made a good impression on the participants. Many questions were asked on the use of PdW-5 alloy in the production of catchment gauzes. During the conference EZOCM has received requests on catalytic systems quotations from Chinese nitrogen acid manufacturers.
On the sidelines of the Conference, a set of negotiations with several Chinese companies’ representatives was held on metal trading and chemical-compound deliveries.
Within the Conference Plaurum held a set of negotiations with representatives of Chinese companies for cooperation in the field of metal trading and chemical compounds supply. The companies have shown great interest in EZOCM (the company of Plaurum group) products, and have expressed their readiness to visit the plant in Russia to get acquainted with production processes and capabilities, and to discuss further cooperation.
The Hangzhou Conference is attended on an annual basis by major manufacturers of nitrogen acid, equipment (units, compressors, catalyst gauzes, secondary catalysts) in China and other countries around the world. The three-day event program consists of a forum and workshop on production safety, equipment, environmental protection, regulations, engineering, marketing analysis, sales and technical innovations.
The event is organized by Synthetic Ammonia Professional Committee of China Petroleum & Chemical Engineering Survey & Design Association and China Nitric Acid & Nitrate Work Committee.
Participating in this Conference is the first step by Plaurum group towards entering the Chinese market of catalytic systems for ammonia oxidation. According to Alexey Shchukin, Plaurum does have prospects on Chinese market, but the company still has to adapt some technologies in order to meet requirements of the world’s largest and most rapidly-developing nitrogen acid market.
