Representatives of the Central Analytical Laboratory of Ekaterinburg Non-Ferrous Metals Processing Plant JSC have participated in an Annual Meeting of the Association of Analytical Centers “Analitica”
An Annual Meeting of the Association of Analytical Centers “Analitica” was held in Moscow on April 22-26, 2019. The Association unites specialists in the field of applied analytical chemistry and is sponsored by the Research Council for Analytical Chemistry of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The Association includes more than 130 member laboratories of industry-specific and academic institutions, higher educational institutions, organizations of the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology of the Russian Federation, and businesses of different types of ownership. Within the framework of Annual Meetings a conference of laboratories representatives specializing in analysis of precious metals and products containing them, which is called the “Gold Club” is organised.
The Central Analytical Laboratory of Ekaterinburg Non-Ferrous Metals Processing Plant JSC has been a member of the Association of Analytical Centers “Analitica” since 2012.
Specialists of EZOCM JSC actively participated in workshops and panel discussion held within the framework of the Annual Meeting of the Association. Elena Anchutina, Head of Standard Specimen Team, made presentations “Translation of Terms in the Field of Standard Specimen” and “Non-Compliance of Provisions of Some National Regulatory Documents to International Requirements in the Field of Standard Specimens”. A presentation “Activity of EZOCM JSC as a Provider of Laboratory Accreditation Verification Programs and Manufacturer of Standard Specimens” was made within the framework of a “Gold Club” meeting. Those presentations caught interest and got a positive response of the audience.
“Thanks to the participation in this meeting we got in-sight into topical issues of accreditation of testing laboratories, changes in laws and regulatory documents in the field of laboratory activity and manufacturing of standard specimens. Annual Meetings of the Association of Analytical Centers “Analitica” provide unique opportunities for making contacts for further interaction and sharing experience with specialists of other laboratories in Russia”, said Maria Lisienko, Head of the Central Analytical Laboratory of EZOCM JSC.
“Within the framework of the “Analitica Expo” exposition which was held at the same time, we learnt the latest achievements and novel trends in analytical chemistry, laboratory technology, equipment and materials. We negotiated with manufacturers and suppliers of laboratory equipment”, added Maria Lisienko.
