Ekaterinburg Non-Ferrous Metals Processing Plant JSC (PLAURUM international group company) demonstrated their products and technologies at the Glasstec-2018 Annual International Exhibition that took place from 23 October to 26 October 2018 in Düsseldorf, Germany.

GLASSTEC is the most influential international glass industry exhibition. The exhibition convenes the manufacturers, developers, distributors and purchasers from around the world, 1,235 exhibitors have arrived from 52 countries and 40,200 visitors have arrived from over 100 countries. During the exhibition the up-to-date information on the industry branch, processing and bringing to new products and application thereof can be obtained. The supplementary program of conferences with the international research and practical application specialists has also taken place. The thematic areas of the exhibition are the following: glass production and processing technologies, solar power technologies and elements, measurement and control technologies, glass products.   

“We have found out more about the main trends of the world glass industry and taken part in the conference. By taking part in the specialized events of such level we aim to demonstrate our potential and to develop our contacts that would allow us to keep expanding our exports in the near future. Glasstec exhibition is also remarkable because we have our target audience there, namely: manufacturers of glass, glass fiber, targets, products made of technical ceramics,  drawing equipment, equipment for coating. We have held meetings with the representatives from over 50 companies from Germany, China, Taiwan, Czech Republic, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Belarus and Russia. They all use elements made of precious metals for production of such products or other types of similar products. We have carried out negotiations regarding supply of targets, crucibles, wires, tubes and other technical products made of precious metals. Further negotiations will involve clarification of the prospective customers’ demands and arranging for the trial deliveries,” said Alexey Fomin, Deputy Head of the Science and Technology Department of EZOCM JSC.
