Equipment for glass fiber production
Equipment of EZOCM JSC made of precious metals allows to produce various types of glass fiber, that is used for manufacturing of products in accordance with state standards: GOST 19170-2001 “Fiber glass. For production of continuous glass fiber one of two main approaches is used - more popular double-stage method or single-stage technique - modern and more efficient in terms of price / quality ratio.
Double-stage technique includes two stages:
- batch preparation, glass melting and production of glass boulders (pieces of melted glass), glass beads or rods;
- melting of glass boulders and glass beads inmelting vessel and glass fiber spinning.
Single-stage technique excludes the glass boulders (pieces of melted glass) or glass beads production stage, thereby energy consumption reduces by almost half. Instead of this stage the operation of glass flow distribution to individual bushings is implemented in the distributor of glass-melting furnace.
Discontinuous (staple) fiber is produced by blowing of melted glass.
The company manufactures glass melting apparatus (GMA) for double-stage technique, bushings for single-stage technique; various drain apparatus (DA) for the production of thermoplastic staple fibers.
At present, the plant produces more than 30 types of GMA with pipe or slot charging for production of glass fibers of "E", "C", S2 types as well as hollow glass fibers and "E" type glass.
GMA parts (in accordance with company standard STO 0195200-106-2017) are made of palladium Pd 99.9 or platinum-rhodium alloys PtRh-7, PtRh-10, PtRh-20, PtRh-30 or dispersion-hardened materials Pt99.9DU, PtRh-10DU. The devices can be manufactured with or without thermocouples. Wire for thermocouples is made of alloys of PR-6, PR-30 grades.
- Spinnerets quantityisfrom 100 to 800 pcs;
- Solid-drawn spinneret plate can be manufactured.
The plant produces bushings for the production of glass fiber of types: "E" (low electrical conductivity), "C" (high chemical resistance), "ECR" (stable in aggressive environments, etc.), "S2" (high strength, heat-resistant, double-stage).
Bushing parts (in accordance with company standard STO 00195200-105-2017) are made of palladium Pd 99.9 or platinum-rhodium alloys PtRh-7, PtRh-10, PtRh-20 or dispersion-hardened platinum-rhodium alloys PtRh-10DU. Bushings can be manufactured with or without thermocouples. Wire for thermocouples is made of platinum of PtT grade or platinum-rhodium alloys of PR-6, PR-10, PR-30 grades.
- Spinnerets quantity is from 200 to 4000 pcs;
- Solid-drawn spinneret plate can be manufactured.
